Ruby Waves Book

Ruby Waves Book. Ruby’s Waves is a heartfelt picture book about courage, love, and finding your voice.

Ruby is a hummingbird who cannot hum like the rest of her family. While her siblings fill the air with beautiful songs, Ruby’s wings remain silent no matter how hard she tries. Heartbroken, she leaves home and journeys alone across the ocean, following the sunlit waves from the Florida Keys to the island of Little Inagua.

Along the way, Ruby faces darkness, fear, and loneliness until she meets Melli, a wise hummingbird who helps her uncover the truth:

Her voice was never gone. It was waiting inside her heart all along.

Written for children ages 4+, Ruby’s Waves is both a magical adventure and a moving story about grief, memory, and the love that stays with us forever. Perfect for families reading together, this beautifully emotional picture book resonates with both children and adults alike.
