Botanicals and Avian Studies (1754) Framed Canvas Wall Art Prints after Mark Catesby - Set of 3

Birds, branches and carefully observed plants share three light grounds in Botanicals and Avian Studies (1754), reproduced after Mark Catesby. The set presents the historic imagery as three separately framed canvas prints.

Each frame measures 18 by 24 inches and 2 inches deep. Hung in the supplier’s illustrated row, the group occupies approximately 58 by 24 inches, including the gaps; the white beaded frames keep the botanical details in focus.

“I would hang these where they invite a closer look, perhaps above a long cabinet. Botanical studies are especially satisfying when there is time to notice the birds as well as the leaves.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership

Lift by the frame and dust gently with a clean, soft, dry brush. Keep moisture, cleaning sprays and abrasive cloths away from the printed face. Display away from strong direct sunlight, heat and damp walls; choose wall fixings suited to the wall and the framed piece’s weight.

Maker / Heritage

Kate & Laurel comes from Uniek’s design and curation team in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Its artist collaborations make the frame part of the composition: a recessed canvas, a beaded edge or a glazed print gives the same wall a different rhythm. The artwork in this edit is printed and framed in Wisconsin, pairing named artists’ imagery with the finishing that turns a print into a piece ready for a considered home.
